As we were driving south on Interstate 35 and passing state line borders, Stephen and I began to make a mental list of the states we had not visited, either individually or together. We discovered that Oklahoma was the one state neither of us had checked off the list. When we finally crossed the border into Oklahoma Stephen declared that his map of the lower 48 is complete.  I still have a few states in the Deep South before I can make that claim.
